About
Bio:
Eleni was raised in North London and is Greek Cypriot by heritage. Growing up, her family was in the fashion trade and hairdressing. This found her spending time immersed in fabrics and embellishments around her, connecting with the world of beauty, moved and inspired by the shapes, colours and textures. Eleni began discovering her expression through drawing and experimented with various mediums on her journey connecting with her artistic voice and later studied Fine Art in Hampshire. She has exhibited at various London locations, including showing at The Loop Gallery Billboard exhibition in East London, The Brick Lane Gallery as well as being featured by the BBC for her work in the Passion for Freedom exhibition.
Eleni has also been well received at various cultural fixtures including the art and makers section at Cross the Tracks music festival.
Eleni explores the themes of identity, cultural diversity and ambiguity through the art of clothing across space, time and imagination.
About The Art:
Eleni’s work delves into themes of identity and integration, exploring how different parts of the self come together. She’s drawn to moments of pause, where stillness allows space for introspection and connection. Her art navigates the space between the material and the ethereal, merging physical forms with emotional and intangible experiences. Feminine energy plays a central role, reflecting the balance between softness and strength, vulnerability and power, and the tension between intuition and focus.
She’s also captivated by imperfection and non-conformity, using asymmetry to challenge rigid norms and celebrate the uniqueness of individual expression. Emotional resonance is at the core of her process—each piece is a reflection of her own emotional journey, unfolding through instinct and connection to the present moment. Dots and simple lines bring a sense of freedom and playfulness, balancing the deeper emotional tones with lightness and joy.
Eleni’s art evokes a sense of timelessness, where elements of fashion and character feel familiar yet undefined, creating a visual dialogue between different eras. Her intuitive process brings forth imagery that connects past and present, highlighting the shared experiences of women across time. In this way, her work reflects how these women—through different cultures, and circumstances—are exploring the same fundamental themes, with something both universal and uniquely different in each story
Ultimately, her work is about embracing the complexities of experience, weaving together different layers of emotion, identity, and transformation, inviting both herself and the viewer to engage with the fluidity of life.
